What you’re buying
A personalised 24-page picture book, drawn in watercolour, in which your child is the main character. You choose between a hardcover and a layflat edition with thick pages that open completely flat.
You see the cover and the first four pages first, free, before you pay anything. After you order we draw the rest. Nothing goes to the printer until you’ve approved the whole book and one of us has checked every page.
Delivery
From fablebook.co.uk we deliver in the United Kingdom. Delivery is included in the price. You get a tracking link as soon as the book is on its way.
Each book is printed to order. After you approve the whole book, it usually arrives within 7 to 11 working days. It reaches you within 30 days of your approval at the latest, as the terms say.
If something is wrong
Print faults and transit damage we simply fix: we reprint the book and send it again at no cost. Send a photo of the fault and it’s usually sorted in one email.
If we can’t finish the book, or can’t put a fault right, we refund everything. Section 8 of the terms says exactly when.
Changing your mind
Until you pay, you’re not committed to anything: the preview is free and you can simply stop. Because the book is made just for you, there’s no cooling-off period once you order: the statutory right to cancel doesn’t apply once you order and pay. The order screen says so too, before you pay. Your statutory rights if the book is damaged or differs from what you approved are unaffected.
Your photographs
The photos you upload are used only to draw your book. They’re deleted automatically once they’re no longer needed, never sold, and never used to train models.
You can have your data deleted at any time from My details.
