1. Who runs the giveaway

Fablebook runs this giveaway itself. Instagram, Meta and TikTok have nothing to do with it (section 10).

2. What you can win

• One Fablebook layflat book (thick pages, a book that opens completely flat) worth £64. There is one prize in this giveaway for the United Kingdom; the Netherlands has its own giveaway with its own prize.
• Delivery to your address in the United Kingdom is included.
• You make the book yourself, from your own family photographs and your own answers, like any other Fablebook. You get a free code for that (section 8).
• The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or for anything else.
• A second copy, the colouring book and other extras are not part of the prize; you pay for those yourself if you want them.

3. How to enter

The giveaway runs from 00:00 on 20 October 2026 until 11:59pm on 3 November 2026 (UK time).

• Follow the Fablebook account where you see the giveaway (Instagram or TikTok).
• Comment on the post with your answer to the question: “Who would you make this book for?”
• Tag one friend in that same comment. One is enough; tagging more does not earn anything extra. Only tag people you know and who would not mind.
• Extra chance (Instagram only, and entirely optional): share the post to your story and tag our account in that story so that we can see it, or say in your comment that you did. That counts as one extra entry. If we cannot see it, we may ask you for a screenshot of your story.

It costs nothing to enter. You do not have to buy, order or upload anything, and you do not send us any photographs or other details: only your comment.

4. Who can enter

• You are 18 or older.
• You live in the United Kingdom.
• You enter with your own, real Instagram or TikTok account, where we can reach you with a reply to your comment or a DM. A fake account, a bot, or an account made only for this giveaway does not count.
• People who work for Fablebook, and people who work for Fablebook on this giveaway, cannot enter.
• One entry counts per account, plus the optional extra chance through your story. If we see that the same person is entering with more than one account, we count those entries as one.

5. When an entry is valid

• Your comment is on the post within the period above, by the platform’s time (until 11:59pm on 3 November 2026, UK time).
• Your comment answers the question and tags one account.
• Your comment is still there when we draw and we can reach you.
• You meet section 4.

We check that the winner and the reserves follow us and meet the terms. If someone does not, we move to the next.

6. How the winner is chosen

On 4 November 2026 at 12:00 (UK time) we draw the winner from all valid entries. It is a draw, so pure chance: nobody picks a winner, including us. Two reserves are drawn in case the winner cannot take the prize or does not reply.

The draw is logged and can be repeated. We sort the list of valid entries, take a fingerprint of it (SHA-256) and work out the winner and the reserves from that fingerprint and from the date and time of the draw (2026-11-04T12:00 Europe/London, published here before the draw). Anyone who uses the same list and the same value gets the same result.

We publish the proof (the fingerprint of the list and the value) with the post about the draw. If you want to know whether your entry was in the draw, e-mail us.

7. The winner

• We tell the winner with a reply to their comment or a DM, from Fablebook’s official account. We never ask for a payment or a password in it.
• The winner replies within 7 days of our message and gives an e-mail address for the code. If that does not happen, the prize passes from that person to the first reserve and, if needed, to the second.
• We may ask the winner to confirm that they are 18 or older and live in the United Kingdom.
• Whether we name the winner’s username in public is up to the winner.
• We never show or post the winner’s book, the photographs or the child. The book is about a real child, which is exactly why. The winner is free to share it themselves; we do not.

8. Getting the prize

• The winner gets a personal, free code by e-mail. The code belongs to one e-mail address, works once, only on fablebook.co.uk, and for 60 days from the day we send it.
• You make the book the usual way: you create your account, add your family photographs, see the first pages free and approve the book. At checkout you enter the code. You then pay nothing for the book or for delivery.
• After that our terms and conditions, the privacy policy and what we promise about your photographs apply to the book itself, as for any other book.

9. Your data

• We use your public username, your comment and its time only to run this giveaway: to check that your entry is valid, to draw the winner and to reach the winner.
• We delete the list of entries and the log of the draw 60 days after the draw. If a complaint is still open then, we keep them until it is settled.
• Your comment is on Instagram or TikTok and stays there until you delete it. Like every comment on our posts, it also reaches our customer service; the retention periods in the privacy policy apply to it there.
• For the winner we also keep the e-mail address for the code and what the order needs, as for any order.
• We do not use your data for anything else, and we do not send you marketing because you entered.

Your rights (to see, delete or object) and the companies that work for us are in the privacy policy.

10. Instagram, Meta and TikTok

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta or TikTok. You are giving your information to Fablebook, not to Instagram, Meta or TikTok. By entering, you release Instagram, Meta and TikTok from any liability in connection with the giveaway.

11. Changes, stopping, and the rules we follow

If there is a good reason (abuse, a technical problem, a platform’s rules), we may change or stop the giveaway. We will say so in the posts and here. What has already been agreed with a winner stays.

This giveaway follows the CAP Code, the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing, including its rules on promotions: the closing date, how and when the winner is chosen, how they are told, and what the prize is, are all on this page.

12. Questions and complaints

E-mail us at support@fablebook.co.uk; we reply within two working days. If we cannot sort it out together, you can complain to the Advertising Standards Authority (asa.org.uk).
